  • The Ophthalmologist Consultant Phaco Surgeon at our Bandra location is a vital member of our healthcare team, dedicated to providing exceptional eye care services. This role primarily involves diagnosing, treating, and managing eye disorders, with a focus on cataract surgeries. As a specialist, you will not only perform intricate surgical procedures but also engage in educating patients to ensure a comprehensive understanding of their conditions. The ideal candidate will possess a commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for enhancing ocular health.Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to accurately diagnose conditions.- Perform advanced phacoemulsification surgeries with precision.- Evaluate and manage patients both pre- and post-surgery.- Effectively utilize diagnostic equipment for precise assessments.- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient.- Stay abreast of the latest developments in ophthalmology and surgical techniques.- Collaborate with optometrists and other healthcare professionals for holistic patient care.- Educate patients on eye health and surgical procedures to ensure informed decision-making.- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.- Participate in outreach programs and community health initiatives.- Promptly address any post-surgery complications that may arise.- Monitor patient recovery progress and adjust treatments as needed.- Ensure a sterile and safe environment during surgical procedures.- Provide mentorship and training to junior staff and interns.- Contribute to research and development initiatives within the field of ophthalmology.- Maintain professional affiliations and attend relevant seminars to support continuous learning.Required Qualifications- MD or equivalent in Ophthalmology.- Fellowship in cataract and refractive surgery.- Valid medical license to practice in India.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ophthalmology.- Proven expertise in phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation.- Strong knowledge of ocular diseases and their treatments.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.- Proficiency in using surgical instruments and technology.- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.- Dedication to ongoing education and professional development.- Strong organizational and time management abilities.- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.- Ability to handle high-pressure situations.- Willingness to engage in research and clinical trials.If you meet the above qualifications and are interested in this rewarding opportunity, please contact Mr. Manoj Thenua at
