System Architect – Core Software Engineering | Trading Tech

We’re excited to partner with a global financial leader on an ambitious initiative to build out their brand-new core software engineering team in Singapore. This is a rare opportunity to get in at the ground level of a high-impact transformation within their Technology Trading division, with a focus on FX, Rates, and Equities platforms.

We\’re seeking a System Architect who thrives in a fast-paced trading environment, has deep architectural expertise, and enjoys working across global teams.

  • Define and evolve the architectural vision across FX and Rates trading platforms.
  • Lead the alignment of cross-functional Agile teams to build scalable, high-performing systems.
  • Drive architectural excellence across application development, infrastructure, and DevOps.
  • Contribute to building greenfield platforms and work on enterprise-scale integration.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong experience in enterprise systems architecture (e.g. C#, Java, or similar).
  • Hands-on exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred), SOA, microservices, APIs.
  • Domain knowledge in FX, Rates, or Equities is a plus.
  • Experience with Agile frameworks and delivering in globally distributed teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and technical leadership skills.
