It is looking to recruit for the role of Sonographer (Ultrasound).

Job Description
  • Responsible for performing ultrasound examinations on patients
  • Explaining procedures to patients
  • Ensuring their comfort during the examination
  • Positioning the patient appropriately
  • Operating on specialized equipments
  • Analyzing the results for diagnostic purposes
  • Working closely with the other healthcare departments
Requirements
  • A diploma or degree in Diagnostic Radiography or Medical Imaging from a recognized institution
  • Practical training and experience in ultrasound imaging through internships or clinical placements / Prior work experience in a similar role
  • Professional certification from the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore
  • Proficiency in English
  • Candidates must be a Singaporean / Permanent Resident or under appropriate work visa/permit
  • Candidates must undergo a health screening to ensure fitness for healthcare work
  • Demonstrated skills in medication administration, wound care, and patient monitoring
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and medical professionals
  • Attention to details and a thorough understanding of human anatomy and physiology are crucial
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle emergencies, and make quick decisions when necessary
