As a Programme Executive, you will play a key role in developing, planning, and implementing the Society’s Enrichment Programmes and Special Interest Groups (SIGs), designed to create meaningful and empowering experiences for cancer survivors and patients.
You will work closely with trainers, volunteers, and community members to coordinate classes, workshops, and events, while also contributing ideas to enhance our programme offerings. This role provides the opportunity to make a real impact by supporting cancer survivors in their journey of recovery and growth. This role may also involve job rotation within the team to support your development and organisational needs.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and execute weekly enrichment classes and activities.
- Manage trainer scheduling, participant registrations, communications, and payments.
- Design and roll out recruitment materials through eDMs, email, and WhatsApp.
- Organise workshops, performances, and showcase events at Society and community platforms.
- Support Special Interest Groups (SIGs) by working with volunteer champions and vendors.
- Facilitate member participation in competitions and community events.
- Track participation, prepare reports, and monitor programme effectiveness through feedback.
- Serve as the key liaison for members, trainers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with outreach strategies, administrative tasks, and ad hoc event support.
- Diploma / Nitec / Higher Nitec in related fields.
- 1–2 years of experience in programme or community management preferred.
- Weekend work may be required to support classes or events.
- Passionate about working with older adults and cancer survivors.
- Strong emotional intelligence, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong administrative skills.
- Enjoys developing programmes and creating meaningful experiences.
- Team player with adaptability to support evolving organisational needs.
- Experience in events and volunteer management will be an advantage.
