About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive professional to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening our organisation’s data protection and privacy framework, ensuring compliance with national legislation and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement, monitor, and track compliance with data protection policies and procedures.
  • Partner with stakeholders to manage data breaches and incidents in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct impact and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential data protection risks.
  • Handle data requests and provide guidance on best practices in data management.
  • Conduct audits and collaborate with stakeholders to integrate data protection measures into business processes.
  • Facilitate training, briefings, and awareness sessions on data protection.
  • Address internal (staff) and external (public) queries on data protection matters.
  • Stay updated with changes in data protection legislation, policies, and industry best practices.
  • Support departmental operations, administration, and assigned projects.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. Training will be provided to candidates without prior experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proactive, resourceful, and motivated to learn and improve continuously.
  • Diligent and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage tasks independently and within timelines.
  • Analytical with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable with public speaking, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration.
