Senior Principal Estimator – KBR, Inc. R Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy Lead the estimating team for onshore and offshore projects, providing guidance, mentoring, and technical expertise. Develop estimating strategies, methodologies, and tools tailored to specific types of projects – FPSO projects knowledge is a plus. Ensure estimates align with corporate standards, industry benchmarks, and client expectations. Cost Estimation & Analysis Prepare detailed cost estimates for engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and operations. Analyze project scope, technical specifications, and execution plans to identify cost drivers and risks. Benchmark estimates against historical data, market trends, and vendor quotations. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Work closely with engineering, procurement, project controls, and commercial teams to ensure integrated cost estimates. Liaise with clients, partners, and subcontractors to validate assumptions and secure competitive pricing. Present estimates and cost models to senior management and external stakeholders. Risk & Value Management Identify cost risks and opportunities and develop mitigation strategies. Support value engineering initiatives to optimize project economics. Conduct sensitivity analyses and scenario planning for project decision-making. Systems & Compliance Maintain and enhance estimating tools, databases, and software systems. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline (Master’s preferred). Minimum 15 years of experience in cost estimating within the oil and gas industry, with exposure to offshore projects, 4 years of which should be in management. Strong knowledge of FPSO design, construction, and operations, including topsides, hull, mooring, and subsea interfaces. Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Aspen Capital Cost Estimator, Cleopatra, or equivalent). Demonstrated leadership in managing multidisciplinary estimating teams. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
