This role involves providing 24x7 operation support for enterprise IT systems, operating on Windows and UNIX platforms with middleware products such as Oracle, MS-SQL, JBoss, Tomcat, Kubernetes, and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the configuration, administration, monitoring and daily maintenance of enterprise-wide applications such as Oracle, MS-SQL, Apache HTTPd, Apache Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere Application Servers, Kubernetes, Kafka, IBM MQ.
• Interact with software development and infrastructure teams to implement application solutions and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Collaborate with software, network and infrastructure administrators to resolve technical issues.
• Troubleshoot web, middleware and database environments.
• Identify potential and real performance bottlenecks within web environments.
• Use troubleshooting methods to differentiate between infrastructure or environment problems.
• Update documentation to reflect system setup and environment changes.
• Handle escalations seamlessly to meet or exceed SLAs.
• Utilize ITSM processes and tool support.

Requirements

• Must be a Singaporean citizen due to G50 security clearance requirements by the client.
• Diploma/Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Working experience in Linux and Windows systems.
• Strong implementation and administrative skills for Linux and Windows.
• Good knowledge of MS-SQL and open-source solutions such as JBoss, Docker containers and Kubernetes.
• Prior experience providing enterprise-wide on-premises systems support.
• Analytical mindset and proactive attitude to improve productivity and efficiency.
