What The Role Is

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) is looking for an experienced and proactive team member to join the ANS Safety Division. As part of the ANS Safety Team, you will play a key role to lead and develop safety communication strategy including promotion and education of CAAS, ANS Group's Safety Management System (SMS). You will spearhead the promotion of CAAS, ANS Group's SMS including the development of safety education and training initiatives to promote a proactive safety culture within the ANS Group.

What You Will Be Working On
  • Develop and implement CAAS, ANS Group's safety policy and SMS procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices to foster a proactive safety culture within CAAS, ANS Group.
  • Develop safety communication strategy to promote safety policies and safety initiatives, including education and training on SMS, to ensure effective communication and awareness of SMS policies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate SMS policy and promotion initiatives, including education and training, into operational processes and safety initiatives, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate educational and promotional activities related to SMS, including the development of training materials to enhance awareness and understanding of safety policies.

  • Good communications and interpersonal skills, adept at engaging external and internal stakeholders, including multi-agency and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to understand operational units' needs and translate these needs into impactful communications plans.
  • Good writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work well independently while being a strong team player.
Appointment Details

Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
