Overview This is a strategic role where you'll drive cost transparency and financial control across feedstock operations in a fast-growing renewable energy company. You'll play a key part in optimizing margins, guiding sourcing strategies, and aligning financial insights with business direction. Client Details Our client is a pioneering player in the renewable energy sector, undergoing rapid commercial expansion. Description Build full cost transparency across feedstock operations and supply chain. Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support decision-making. Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve margin performance. Provide strategic insights for sourcing, supplier negotiations, and investment decisions. Assess financial risks and support mitigation strategies. Prepare reports and dashboards for senior leadership, including variance analysis and recommendations. Profile A successful Business Controller should have: 12+ years of experience as a business controller in energy, natural resources, chemicals, or commodities. Strong understanding of cost principles in feedstock or commodity-based environments. Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Skilled in financial modeling and ERP systems. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese is a plus, as the role involves regular communication with stakeholders based in China and Hong Kong. Proactive, hands-on, and collaborative mindset.
