As a Business Intelligence professional at Altus Group, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Director of Commercial Strategy and Chief of Staff in driving key operational initiatives and strategic transformations within the Valuation Advisory business. Your analytical skills, data fluency, and ability to translate complex insights into actionable business strategies will be essential in this fast-paced environment.You will be responsible for designing and delivering business intelligence solutions and dashboards using tools like Excel, Power BI, and SQL. Your deep understanding of business operations and performance metrics will enable you to define data strategies aligned with business priorities, identify performance drivers, and build scalable data infrastructure to answer critical business questions. Your role will involve preparing reporting packages, performance summaries, and business decks to inform executive decision-making.In addition to data insights and reporting, you will lead efforts to enhance data integrity, accessibility, and governance across the business unit. Collaborating with data engineering and IT teams, you will integrate new data sources, maintain reporting reliability, and provide guidance on data structure best practices and scalable architecture.Furthermore, you will investigate root causes of data and process issues, identify short-term fixes and long-term solutions, and manage change requests, user support inquiries, and documentation of enhancements. Your ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and proactively drive outcomes will be crucial in maintaining an organized log of requests and resolutions to ensure transparency and accountability.To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in an analytical or operations-focused role, along with a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field. Expertise in Power BI and data modeling, proficiency in SQL and data visualization, and strong communication skills for data storytelling are essential.
