As a Full Stack Developer at OCBC, you’ll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that transform how we deliver financial services. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Full Stack Developer to join our strong and enthusiastic trading team. Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and implementing frontend and backend software for a trading application. What you do Participate in requirements gathering with Product Owners, business users and subject matter experts and design an elegant solution adhering to best design patterns. Design and develop microservices using Java-related technologies. Work closely with the UI/UX designer, software engineers, testers, business analysts, Scrum Masters and product owners. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new products and improve existing systems in our microservices architecture. Debug, troubleshoot and provide production support for microservices-based applications. Implement automated testing and CI/CD processes to ensure quality and efficiency in the development cycle. Be a self-starter, providing creative and innovative ideas to continuously improve the technological offering. Collaborate with other developers via code reviews and occasional pair programming. Who you are Experience with full SDLC/Agile projects. Hands-on development and deployment of microservices architectures using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Data, or similar frameworks. Strong knowledge of RESTful web services and related technologies such as JSON, Swagger, and XML. Hands-on development experience in web responsive design using frontend technologies like React.js, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3. Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux). Experience in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of Message-oriented Middleware technologies (MQ and Kafka). Experience with DevOps tools like Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Liquibase. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team. Passion for learning and staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. Experience in Capital Market products or Order Management Systems for OTC markets, bonds, cash equities, funds, IPOs, loans, deposits is preferred.
