Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance tasks.

Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and processes.

Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and operations.

Participate in on-call rotations for critical system support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain RHEL systems across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Design, implement, and support OpenShift container platforms.
  • Administer and troubleshoot JBoss application servers.
  • Utilise Red Hat Satellite for system provisioning, patching, and configuration management.
  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and processes.
  • Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and operations.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Unix/Linux administration, with a focus on RHEL system administration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in supporting Messaging Queue platforms (e.g. IBM MQ, Active MQ, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of OpenShift container platform administration.
  • Proficiency in using Red Hat Satellite for system management.
  • Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash) and at least one programming language (e.g., Python).
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Zabbix, ELK stack).
