Role:
- Install, configure, and maintain database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL or PostgreSQL).
- Monitor database performance, availability, and capacity.
- Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
- Ensure database security, including user access management and data protection.
- Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
- Manage database patches, upgrades, and migrations.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts.
- Maintain documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and development teams.
- Provide support for maintenance and operational activities.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience in database administration.
- Proficient in SQL and database management tools.
- Knowledge of backup/recovery, performance tuning, and security management.
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- This role will need to secure a clearance, due to the sensitivity of the project.
