Reporting directly to the CHRO, the Group Head for HR Shared Services will lead and oversee the global HR shared services function, ensuring that HR operations are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business requirements. The leader will manage HR service delivery across our geographies and technology units, driving the standardization, automation, and continuous improvement of HR processes. A strong strategic leader who can balance operational excellence with the ability to support business growth and evolving transformation. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Strategy Lead the HR Shared Services function globally, encompassing service centers, helpdesk, payroll, benefits, HR operations, and technology support. Develop and implement the HR Shared Services strategy aligned with the overall HR and business goals. Partner with senior HR leaders and business stakeholders to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of HR services. Team Management and Development Manage a diverse team of HR Shared Services professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the HR Shared Services team. Establish clear KPIs and performance metrics for the HR Shared Services team and ensure consistent delivery against these metrics. Process and Technology Optimization Oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and consistency in HR service delivery. Evaluate, select, and manage HR technology platforms, including HRIS, payroll systems, benefits administration systems, and self-service portals. Drive innovation and optimisation through technology, and continuous improvement to provide and enhance a seamless experience for employees and managers. Service Delivery and Quality Ensure the timely, accurate, and efficient delivery of HR services, including payroll, benefits administration, employee data management, HR policy enforcement, and more. Act as the primary escalation point for complex HR service issues and work to resolve them in a timely and customer-focused manner. Regularly assess and improve service delivery to meet or exceed internal and external customer expectations. Compliance and Risk Management Ensure that HR shared services operations comply with local, regional, and global regulations, policies, and standards. Manage risk by ensuring HR data privacy and security standards are met and that HR operations are compliant with applicable labour laws and regulations. Budget and Financial Management Oversee HR budget planning and execution, ensuring alignment of manpower costs with budgetary targets. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies while maintaining high levels of service quality. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management Collaborate with other HR functions (HR Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, etc.) to ensure seamless service delivery. Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including business leaders, finance, IT, and legal departments, to drive effective service delivery and support business objectives. Education Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role within HR Shared Services, with a proven track record of success in transforming HR operations and driving large-scale initiatives. Experience in managing global teams and working with diverse cultures. Skills Strong understanding of HR technology and systems, including HRIS (Workday), cloud-based systems, and self-service platforms. Strategic thinker with a strong customer focus and a commitment to continuous improvement. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, with exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
