Our client is seeking an Operations Executive (Transport) to join their team About Our Client
Our client is a one-stop marine logistics specialist company.
What you\'ll be doing?Ensure safety compliance: Promote and adhere to workplace safety guidelines, contributing to a secure work environment for all.
Coordinate vessel movements: Monitor and manage vessel logistics using advanced systems, collaborating with shipping agents and customers.
Manage driver deployments: Plan and oversee driver assignments, utilizing GPS tracking to optimize routes and meet delivery KPIs.
Handle documentation: Prepare and verify shipping documents, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of delivery receipts.
Provide customer support: Address customer inquiries promptly and professionally, maintaining high levels of service satisfaction.
Perform administrative duties: Verify driver trip records and manage urgent delivery requests, demonstrating your ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Offer emergency support: Participate in a rotational 24/7 on-call system, providing critical operational support when needed.
Who are they looking for?Educational background: Candidates with a minimum of GCE \'O\' Level or a Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field. We welcome applications from individuals with diverse educational backgrounds.
Relevant experience: Ideally, 2-3 years in 3PL, Traffic Planning, Workforce Allocation, or Transport Operations. However, we encourage applications from candidates with transferable skills from other industries.
Independent worker: Ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Problem-solving aptitude: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, with a keen eye for process improvements.
Technical proficiency: Competence in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to support daily operations.
Flexibility: Openness to participating in 24/7 standby duties for operational support on a rotational basis.
Other Information:Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8.30am – 5.30pm & Alt half Saturday: 8:30am – 12:30pm (Will reimburse off in lieu if work on rotated Sat shift)
Basic Salary $2800 - $3200
Company Transport pick up from Jurong East MRT
