IT Fleet

Royal Ocean Marine is seeking a talented and experienced IT Fleet professional to join our client's team. As an IT Fleet, you will be responsible for overseeing the IT systems and infrastructure for our fleet of vessels, ensuring smooth operations and efficient communication.

• Manage and maintain computer systems and networks for the fleet department.
• Ensure smooth operation and functionality of IT infrastructure onboard vessels.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software.
• Provide technical support and assistance to onboard staff for IT-related issues.
• Maintain and update inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
• Implement security measures and data protection protocols.
• Collaborate with IT team to develop and implement IT strategies and solutions for the fleet department.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the maritime IT industry.
• Participate in IT projects and initiatives as assigned.
• Perform other IT-related tasks and responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Prior experience in managing IT systems in the maritime industry.
• Strong knowledge of maritime communication systems and navigation equipment.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to travel and work on board vessels.
