The Role

We are seeking a part-time Fundraising Lead to join our team and be responsible for raising funds from venture capital firms, institutional investors, accredited investors, and family offices to support VentureBlick's continued growth and expansion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully raising funds from venture capital firms, institutional investors, accredited investors, and family offices, with deep knowledge of the financial markets, investment landscape, and start-up ecosystem. This is a part-time position that requires excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

What you will be doing

  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to raise capital from venture capital firms, institutional investors, accredited investors, and family offices to support VentureBlick's continued growth and expansion
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential investors, including conducting outreach, scheduling meetings, and making presentations
  • Lead negotiations with potential investors, ensuring the terms and conditions of funding agreements are favorable and in line with the startup's strategic objectives
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective investors, including researching their investment preferences, risk appetite, and financial capabilities
  • Be prepared to update the VentureBlick Leadership Team on your activities and progress in a once-per-week meeting
  • Stay abreast of market trends, industry news, and regulatory changes that may impact fundraising efforts

Who you are

  • Extensive local network of venture capital firms, institutional investors, accredited investors, and family offices
  • Holds all of the required licenses and certifications in order to carry out the responsibilities of this role within Singapore
  • Proven experience as a financial services professional with a successful track record of raising funds
  • Deep understanding of local financial markets, investment products, and industry regulations within Singapore
  • Although not required, at least some understanding of the nuances of the healthcare industry would be a big plus
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish and maintain trust with potential investors
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct in all business dealings
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity
