Investigation Center Shift Lead

Job Summary:
The Investigations Shift Lead, assigned to one of Pinkerton's largest global clients, will develop and manage the operations of Investigative Analysts within a high-performing Investigations Center while ensuring all reporting to the client meets the highest level of quality and accuracy.
Essential Functions:
Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence. Provide leadership and day-to-day guidance to the Investigations Center team. Develop operational procedures and policies. Serve as the decision-maker, as directed by the Investigations Manager. Provide analysis to guide decision-makers. Ensure all services are conducted in a timely and professional manner with special attention to quality and accuracy. Provide team oversight including communication, direction, schedule coordination, and processing of employee paid time off requests. Complete new hire training to ensure comprehension and development of skills/responsibilities. Conduct all-source collection and research, analyze, evaluate, and integrate data from multiple sources, identify intelligence/security gaps, and specify collection requirements to produce assessments and recommendations. Independently conduct investigations involving medium to high levels of complexity. Prepare case project plan and review with supervisor. Establish and manage investigative files for all new cases, including data input to keep files current. Extract essential information and analysis from investigations and intelligence products and synthesize the information into actionable reports. Prepare and/or review all submitted analysis and investigative reports to ensure accuracy, research and investigative sufficiency, and professional quality, edit as needed. Communicate all issues related to the client relationship with the appropriate management personnel. Participate in designated training sessions/seminars and review company training materials to enhance professional competencies and ensure high-quality investigations. Identify vendors and technological tools to improve and expedite research. All other duties, as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, law enforcement, statistical analysis, or related field and at least two years of corporate intelligence, investigative, and/or threat assessment experience, preferably within a Lead/Supervisor role. Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles. Interview/interrogation skills. Able to write detailed, accurate, complex investigative and business correspondence and present information in one-on-one and group situations to mid-level managers and above. Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Able to work under adverse and stressful conditions with little or no supervision. Able to solve complex problems while using good judgment and discretion. Serve as an effective team member and leader. Able to organize workload for effective implementation. Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures. Able to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves. Able to implement changes to operations and external/internal environment. Computer skills; Microsoft Office.
Working Conditions:

Regular computer usage. Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment. Must be able to work any shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to ensure the successful completion of work assignments. On-call on days off, as required. Frequent sitting.
