Lloyd’s APMEA is looking for a relationship focused leader within our Singapore office who will establish and nurture trusted partnerships with a wide variety of stakeholders as part of playing a key role in executing Lloyd’s Commercial Strategy.
The Regional Market Development Manager, will be a commercially minded leader, able to act as an ambassador for Lloyds through collaboration with key stakeholders such as MGAs, key retail and wholesale brokers, risk managers and industry trade associations, as well as Lloyd’s managing agents, syndicates and Lloyd’s brokers across the region with a primary focus on Singapore.
You will be responsible for facilitating innovative solutions to enable stakeholders to leverage the unique benefits of, and alternative risk solutions available within, the Lloyd’s marketplace. Acting as a key spokesperson for Lloyd’s in Singapore and as required in the wider APMEA region, articulating the Lloyd’s value proposition whilst driving global initiatives including Lloyds Lab innovation programmes, the multinational proposition and captive opportunities.
Key accountabilities will include:
Attract, develop, and support strong underwriting businesses including new syndicates / captives / coverholders / service companies / capital providers. Facilitate strong growth opportunities through identification of opportunities / convening stakeholders, influencing desired outcomes and enabling digitalisation. Support local APMEA staff across the region with communication and advice on opportunity identification and development. Act on local intelligence to improve the Lloyd’s proposition through the development of networks / feedback on stakeholder views / sharing awareness of local market dynamics / influencing policymakers and regulators and enhancing understanding of local issues. Provide stewardship – Be in the rooms that matter when potential strategic growth opportunities are being discussed.Are you motivated to solve complex challenges with creative solutions?
