How Will You Make an Impact?

The successful candidate will join a team of dedicated engineers and scientists, passionate about bringing actionable insights to molecular testing in biopharmaceutical and clinical space The candidate will work collaboratively in a matrix environment to develop assays for biopharma safety test and disease using real-time PCR, CE sequencing and next-generation sequencing technologies. The role will provide expert analysis of predicted assay performance and analyze assay performance retroactively. This individual will work with an interdisciplinary team of scientists to develop an exciting pipeline of products to meet our mission for quality – right the first time with the customer in mind.

What will you do?

Primary responsibility is to support biopharma new product introductions (NPI), focusing on PCR-based assays, capillary electrophoresis and next-generation assay panel design. Additional responsibilities include support for on-market products and using innovative approaches for system improvement and troubleshooting. Ensure proper design and timely execution of development, analysis, and documentation of assays. Work with a team of bench scientists to provide interpretation of data and assay design optimization.
