Sitting within the MongoDB Professional Services organization, the Senior Manager, Engagement Management is responsible for the Services Sales in a specified region with a team of Engagement Managers. This leadership role inspects the activities of their team, owns the regional forecast, is involved in key deals and account strategy, and enables the team to be successful.

The ideal candidate combines people management, operational cadence and strategy in day to day activities. The technical background, leadership skills and ability to build relationships internally and externally are the foundation for success. 

This role will be based in Singapore.

The Senior Manager, Engagement Management will

Develop and maintain the business plan for the region. Your team is responsible for creating sales enthusiasm, Professional Services branding, developing pipeline, as well as operational excellence during the various sales stages, using MEDDIC, and remaining attached during the delivery of engagement. Where you manage the team to make them successful in their responsibilitiesManage a team of Engagement Managers from HR perspective. The people's responsibility includes hiring/onboarding, developing, and managing attrition as well as conducting Performance and Growth processes for the teamStrategic planning. Identify market, and organizational demand, drive the required changes in the organization across the different departments

Experience you'll need

8+ years of experience in enterprise technology professional services in a customer-facing services sales role, carrying individual quota 4+ years experience working in a SaaS company for Services or Consulting as a people leaderProven track record of exceeding targetsFamiliarity with MEDDIC and Services Sales ForecastingExperience in hiring, building, coaching, and managing team membersKeen adaptability to technology innovation with an ability to learn quickly in a rapid-growth, fast-paced, dynamic environmentA “can-do” attitude and the ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionallyAbility to adapt, and implement changes in processes quicklyAbility to consult with and influence at all levels within the organizationAbility to quickly develop relationships and assert credibility with both technical and business teamsHigh motivation for a role that requires soft and managerial skills to drive change and improvement across the MongoDB PS organizationFamiliarity with enterprise-scale software architectures, application development methodologies, and software deployment and operations
