Senior Engineer - Electrical (Building Services)

Job Description

Leading electrical services design for building projects
Assume responsibility and undertake engineering tasks of increasing scope and complexity
Responsible for analysis of information, production of design, tenders, proposals and mechnical report writing
Assist in coordination of quality assurance and commissioning of designs with other disciplines and other design consultants
In charge of jobs control, planning, monitoring, progress and job cost reporting
Communicate effectively with the client, sub-consultants, contractors, and other parties relevant to the job
Assist in assessment and review of designs prepared by others on behalf of the clients
Liaise with authorities on plans submission and compliance

Job Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5 years’ experience with 4 years in a consultancy environment
Experience in leading roles for design & design management of health, commercial, institutional and/or hotel projects
Familiarity with codes of practice, relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission and approval procedures
Competent user of relevant engineering software
Excellent written & spoken communication skills in English
Able to work independently & exercise initiative
Excellent delegation and communication skills, which see you enlist the help of others to meet objectives
A team, client and delivery focused working style
