As a Research Geophysicist in the GEO TP Research team, you will be reporting to the Research Manager. In this role, you will contribute to a variety of research activities in line with the business needs such as developing, testing, improving, and validating algorithms/modules/methods with predefined geophysical content.

Job Overview

Develop a program or prototype with predefined geophysical content and specifications Participate in the geophysical validation of prototype with the Imaging team Understand internal requirements by building close relationships with the Imaging team Prepare technical articles and carry out technical presentations for clients Support the innovation process to deploy patent policy Develop knowledge by reading academic publications, attending technical presentations, workshops, conferences, and seminars Participate in the innovation process for deploying patent policy Stay abreast of technology advancements to develop and improve research activities for Business Units and Clients

Key Skills & Experience

Desired Job Skillsets:

Entry to Intermediate level professional contributor on a research project Possess master technical knowledge

Qualifications:

Master or PhD in Geophysics, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering or other analytical discipline Have at least 0-3 years of experience
