Senior Assistant Director, Strategic Partnerships

Nanyang Executive Education (NEE), a division of Nanyang Business School, Singapore offers continuing education and training programmes to middle and senior executive, Delivered by a world-class faculty and complemented by notable industry leaders, our programmes attract talented individuals from Asia and across the globe, providing valuable opportunities for networking and cross-cultural interaction.
The candidate is to work closely with the Reporting Officer to grow the NEE suite of programmes and enrolments. The candidate will need to work with internal and external stakeholders so as to ensure that programmes continue to be relevant to the industry and clients’ needs as well as ensuring that programmes are well subscribed to. This will directly support NTU’s key goal of growing the Continuing Education segment, whilst also making impact to the industry. . In addition, the candidate will provide leadership and direction in the formulation and execution of business development strategies and support the strategic direction of NEE.
Business Development
Develop a multi-channeled marketing strategy including growth and sustainability plansResearch and strategise around industry plans to implement into the NEE programmesPro-actively engage corporations to understand their business as well as training and development needsDevelop proposals for clients to meet their training requirementsSource and cultivate new and existing productive relationships with senior leaders, including C-Suite executives, so that they are engaged on a broader level with NBSFinance Initiatives
Ensure that programes launched are financially sustainableWork with managers on the drafting of budget for clientsResponsible for the P&L budget for NEE programmesEnsure that all programme fees received (via credit card and cheques) are accurately accounted for and invoices related to promotional events are given to NEE Finance Manager/Account Executive for processing in a timely manner, and that corporate policies are adhered toWork with Finance busines partners to resolve issues so as to ensure prompt accounting and reporting of finance matters with regards to NEE prorgammesCollaboration Initiatives
Maintain contact with all clients/participants to ensure high levels of client satisfactionWork closely with operations team to ensure smooth and professional deliveryWork collaboratively and closely with colleagues, staff and facultyUnderstand the various funding schemes available and to apply accordingly, as well as explain to clientsTo work with many different clients with different requirements, and to ensure the same high level service standards are delivered to the clientsTo be top of the latest developments in the learning and development space, and to be able to engage with clients at different levelsEffectively maintain and build relationships with internal teams, external agencies and marketing partners to develop and execute strategic outcomes, to support the business development objectivesOperations
Engage with the NEE Operations team lead to meet on the deliverables in relation to the customer experience and overall efficacyUnderstand Skillsfuture funding framework to develop programmes in line with SkillsfutureRequirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degreeMinimum 8 years of experience. Experience in academic environment will be advantageous.
