The role:
Austrade is seeking a Business Development Manager, Green Energy. This position located at the Austrade office, Australian High Commission in Singapore is a key business development role driving trade and investment opportunities across green economy-related sectors of priority for Australia including clean energy, circular economy, sustainable cities and enabling services.

Duties include
• Proactively identify commercial opportunities and deliver high quality and professional services to eligible Australian businesses including Austrade’s market-specific advice, connection and support services that lead to commercial outcomes. 
• Undertake market research and analysis to identify market trends for existing and emerging business opportunities for Australian companies in green energy transition and sustainable infrastructure-related industry sectors.
• Lead Australian companies’ participation in major green energy-related trade shows and facilitate business matching to deliver export outcomes. 
• Work with existing Business Development Managers in Austrade Singapore and across Southeast Asia to advance Australian market priorities.
• Work collaboratively with Austrade Singapore’s two-way investment teams to share leads and industry information to generate productive investment outcomes aligned with Invested: Australia’s Southeast Asia Economic Strategy to 2040. 
• Establish and maintain partnerships with Australian and Singaporean businesses and other stakeholders including relevant industry associations.
• Develop and deliver marketing content and programs across digital and social media platforms to raise awareness of Australian capability in market and support and promote innovative Australian products and businesses.
• Work collaboratively within the Austrade network to contribute to service delivery and achieve trade and investment outcomes and uphold the Australian Public Service (APS) Values, Employment Principles and Code of Conduct and Work Health & Safety (WHS) principles.
