Key Responsibilities
Monitor, administer certification applications, permits renewals, track and report on certification status and progress.Coordinate with certification bodies to schedule audits.Ensure local SHE and facilities (eg Petroleum and Flammable Material Storage License etc) licenses as well as certifications remain valid with local authorities.Monitor industrial hygiene programs, conduct hazard analysis of hazardous substances and evaluate hazard control methodsCompile and maintain necessary documentation, preparing for internal and external auditsConducts monthly SHE meetings, audits, and inspections together with EHS committee members to ensure SHE maintained, compliance, evaluate performance, and risks are assessed, identify corrective action, and implement follow-up assessments to drive further improvement.Provides employees, contractors and visitors with guidance on health, safety and security matters and ensures the site is compliant with Corporate Safety Rules, industry, local, national guidelines and regulations.Promote safety and health by conducting in-house safety / health campaignsAdvising on engineering and maintenance practices to drive improvement of safe systems of workingDrive EHS activities, ensuring compliance with Corporate EHS requirements, positive SHE culture through but not limited to: Gemba safety talks and training, and putting Safety first demonstrated by consistent management behaviorsCollaborate with contractors, vendors, external and internal customers to resolve safety, environmental and health issues.Echcoing Leading the way to Sustainability and To Protect our Future:
Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and keep up-to-date with industry and regulatory trends and updatesMonitor, track and submit annual reports mandatory packaging reporting (3R plans for packaging) timely under the Waste & Resource Management System by NEA.Provide administrative support, collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance environmental and technological performance - aimed at reducing waste, energy usage, and carbon emissions.Education and Experience
Diploma in engineering on Electrical / mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Knowledge and Skills
Minimum 3 years’ relevant work experience in process safety and hazard management and background in process design, technical support or operations in the manufacturing or Pharmaceutical, Petrochemical industry.Internal auditor or ISO auditor qualification of relevant standards ISO 14001; ISO 45001SCDF as Fire Safety ManagerRegistered with MOM as Workplace Safety and Health Officer is a plus Fluency in Chinese, both verbal and written is a plus44EEO Statement:
