We are looking for a Manufacturing Development Engineer who will be involved in managing end-to-end automation and digitalization projects, from initial planning to ongoing maintenance, while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
What you will do
Oversee automation and digitalization projects from conceptualization through to implementation, validation, and ongoing maintenanceWork with internal and external stakeholders to drive action, manage smart lean projects, and identify opportunities for production improvementsEnsure compliance with quality standards, participate in audits, and maintain documentation and trial processesSustain and maintain equipment, manage the PM & calibration master schedule, and work with calibration service providersAlign and train technicians on calibration and other relevant topicsFocus on transforming backend processes and warehouse systems through automation, digitization, and cost-saving initiatives.What you bring
Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related fields2 years of experience designing and implementing automation solutions, particularly for Automatic Assembly Machines in medical devices or electronics manufacturing/Semiconductor environments preferredProficient in industrial equipment and systems, including robotic assembly, warehouse operations, SMT manufacturing processes, and box-build assemblySkilled in preventive maintenance, tool/mold management, calibration, and debugging/troubleshooting equipmentDesign-For-Manufacturing, FMEA, DOE, Statistical Process Control, and PLC/SCADA systems, with experience in 3-D CAD modeling software (AutoCAD, Pro-Engineer, SolidWorks, etc.) preferredFamiliar with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and World Class Manufacturing principles preferred.Personal competencies
