Join our team as aSustainability Business Development Director and take the lead in drivingsustainability initiatives across the dynamic Asia Pacific regionThis role involves orchestrating, training, and measuring the sustainabilitybusiness activities for multiple Asian countries across a diverse sales force. Theincumbent should possess a deep understanding of sustainability practices,technological advancements, and the manufacturing sector, and will work closelywith cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies tosupport customers in their journeys to become more sustainable businesses andachieve the targets they have set.

You’ll make a difference by:

Aligningglobal sustainability business activities with regional sales strategies. Guidingthe identification of target industries and accounts. Developingstrategies for participation in regional events to optimize ROI. Tailoringsales strategies and materials for regional teams to boost revenue Cultivatingstrong relationships with key stakeholders as a trusted advisor. Trainingregional teams in applying the portfolio to address sustainability challenges. Assistingin building an ecosystem of partners to meet market needs. Stayingabreast of industry trends and competitor activities for informed strategydecisions, providing detailed sales reports and forecasts to management and alsogathering feedback for continuous improvement.

Your Defining Qualities:

Possessinga Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering,Sustainability, or a related field (MBA is a plus). Havinga minimum of 10 years of proven experience in business development or salesroles, preferably in the manufacturing industry or related sectors. Havinga strong understanding of sustainability principles, environmental regulations,and manufacturing processes. Excellentcommunication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complexconcepts in a clear and persuasive manner. Demonstratedtrack record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth. Abilityto build and nurture long-term client relationships, with exceptional customerservice skills, with an analytical mindset with the ability to identify markettrends, assess competitive landscapes, and adapt sales strategies accordingly. Strongnegotiation skills to navigate complex sales cycles and secure deals.Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.Self-driven, proactive, and results-focused, capable of both independent workand collaborative teamwork.
