Role & Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities 

Support the implementation of clinical IT programs and advocate the adoption of clinical standards and terminologies. Assist stakeholders to develop, implement, manage governance processes, policies and procedures pertaining to clinical information systems. Supports activities which helps improve clinical quality and minimises clinical safety risks across all clinical information systems

 Secondary Responsibilities

Support the Clinical Informatics Head to further develop clinical informatics across the healthcare sector. Perform other administrative / secretarial duties assigned. 

Requirements

Education / Training Requirements

Professional degree or equivalent in Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy or other Allied Health. At least five years of working experience in a clinical setting with good understanding of clinical workflows, practices and operation processes. Work experience in the implementation, configuring and troubleshooting of electronic medical record systems and/or other clinical information systems would be advantageous.

Personal Attributes

Keen interest in the area of health technology / clinical information systems. Ability to initiate, deliver and drive to complete projects independently. Ability to work effectively as an individual, as well as in a team. Ability to work on complex issues simultaneously.
