Drydocking Superintendent

- We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drydocking Superintendent to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of drydocking and repair projects for our offshore vessels.
- You will work closely with shipyard personnel, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure that drydocking activities are carried out efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
- Key responsibilities will include developing drydocking specifications, evaluating bid proposals, monitoring progress during drydocking, and ensuring that all necessary repairs and maintenance are completed on time and within budget.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in the maritime industry, with extensive experience in drydocking and ship repair projects.
- You should have excellent project management skills, be detail-oriented, and have a proven ability to work effectively in a team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience as a Drydocking Superintendent in the offshore industry.
- Extensive knowledge of drydocking processes and procedures, including contract management, specification development, and project scheduling.
- Strong technical background in marine engineering, with knowledge of ship systems and equipment.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel and work at different shipyards as required.
