6+ Years (Senior Engineer) / 12+ years (Principal Engineer) industry experience. Masters in electrical engineering / power systems (PhD viewed favourably). Proficiency with power system analysis tools such as PSSE, PSCAD, PowerFactory and Python. Experience working in senior roles within power systems consultancy. Experience with complex, high renewable penetration power systems and firm technical understanding of associated challenges. Proven ability to project management large consulting packages of work, preferably in the power systems domain. Experience working within Electrical Network Operator / Owner viewed favourably. Proven experience mentoring and developing electrical and power system engineers from graduate to a senior level. Great communication skills and demonstrated ability to build relationships with clients and internal staff. Proven track record of business development with power industry clients. Fundamental knowledge of power electronics control systems and experience working within an OEM is considered an advantage. Positive attitude with a proven ability to foster good team culture.
