Job Description:

What you’ll do

The Deployment Lead for Finance Transformation project will be responsible for owning the business elements of the overall integrated plan for the project, working with the Group Beyond Finance Team, who will have overall accountability for the integrated plan.

The Deployment Lead will work closely with the Marketing Finance Project Team members to ensure the Marketing business activities for this project are delivered on time and to a high level of quality.

Key Finance Transformation Projects include Pillar 2 Information Delivery which will require an SAP reimplementation and Marketing Perimeter projects. 

The role will require extensive project management experience including project planning, management of risk and senior stakeholder engagement experience. Experience of ERP systems delivery life cycle and a proven track record of large-scale project management is essential. The candidate doesn’t need to have deep tax expertise, but a good understanding of finance and S/4 general ledger will be highly advantageous.

Performance & Delivery

Create and own an aligned end to end detailed delivery plan for Marketing Finance Transformation Project, in consultation with key programme, business and function stakeholders (including IM). This includes the following phases: Design, Build, Test, and Deploy phases. Run project management processes consistently across the workstreams and provide standardised reporting across all workstreams to programme management. Coordinate and manage the implementation of relevant project activities across/within teams and 3rd parties, ensuring critical milestone outcomes are clear. Partner with the Workstream Leads on ongoing resource analysis and where required, pivot and mobilise team members to support the delivery plan, with clearly defined roles and responsibilities. Assess the impact of and manage the delivery of cross-portfolio & business/function dependencies. Own status reporting for business workstreams, feeding into overall project status reporting, and highlighting any risks, issues, or decisions required. Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies in line with PMO AAOM framework. Input to the integrated Risk and Issue Log for the project, and tracking of mitigation actions assigned to business resources Work closely with the Change & Engagement Lead to manage key portfolio stakeholder relationships and messaging, ensuring buy-in for the plan for each workstream. Supporting the project to achieve the necessary sign-off from the business at appropriate points in the lifecycle. Develop strategies & interventions to bring plan on track in the event of risk to schedule, escalating when necessary. Facilitate the change management approval process whilst supporting teams in achieving successful continuous integration and deployment. Establish appropriate and effective governance structures that enable timely & transparent monitoring of progress against plan. Providing progress updates to Marketing Finance Leadership and taking and incorporating feedback on approach and constraints into the business plan, being clear on where this may trigger governance approval. Prepare for and facilitate the recommendation for quality stage gates for each workstream. Identify and implement opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of project objectives. Management of interdependencies across Marketing functions.

As part of this:Develop an integrated project plan built on the detailed plans for each workstream;Run disciplined project management processes across the workstreams; RAID log, plan updates, change control management, scope control, etcFoster a culture of project management discipline and collaboration across the workstreams and 3rd party suppliers;Monitor the work of each stakeholder and provide regular and useful feedback to them on how they are performing; andDrive delivery of objectives including holding stakeholders to account for their work. Qualifications: Recognised Project Management Qualification(s) (non-specific) Proven track record in project managing the finance delivery of technology and data enabled projects, including collaboration across multiple business areas and functions Evidence of delivery of S4/HANA enabled projects desirable
