Position Overview

The Driver will be responsible to provide curbside and point to point transfer for hotel guest upon request in the best way to represent Capella's service standards.

The Role:

Curbside Operations

  • Direct and control vehicular flow at driveway
  • Assist with car and hotel doors
  • Greet guests and assist with directions and other enquiries
  • Provide luggage assistance to arriving and departing guests
  • Escort guests to their rooms and explain the use of room amenities and facilities
  • Assist guests with ground transportation in a timely manner
  • Deliver incoming items to guest rooms
  • Maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of the luggage rooms, trolleys and buggies.
  • Update records on completed work tasks and work items for handover
  • Ensure that hotel shuttle bus and limousine services are carried out smoothly and properly
  • Assist the front desk if required to maintain an orderly hotel lobby

Guest Transportation

  • Check for daily limousine transfers and assignments
  • Perform pre-trip checks on hotel vehicles (engine oil, tyre pressure, petrol levels etc)
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle (both exterior and interior)
  • To record the movement of the vehicle on the record book: mileage/fuel/cash card
  • When unassigned, driver shall be stationed at the hotel entrance to assist with valet duties
  • Ensure guests / items are shuttled in a safe manner

Talent Profile:

  • Minimum Secondary qualifications
  • Experiences in similar role in luxury hotels/resorts
  • Have a valid Singapore driving license
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to maintain a high level of composure in a busy environment
