Job Description

Key Role

  • Support the Team Lead in conducting compliance assurance testing on 1LOD/2LOD AML/CFT controls on a regular basis or as required.
  • Adopt and adapt the Group’s testing methodologies in carrying out the reviews
  • Independently design and develop review programs for effective execution
  • Identify AML/CFT compliance related risks, escalate and provide suitable recommendation for findings detected
  • Document and perform record-keeping for reviews conducted
  • Prepare case summary reports and presentation deck for management reporting
  • Support AML/CFT compliance activities and take part in assigned projects on an ad-hoc basis
  • Be the main liaison for Compliance for all internal and external AML Compliance related audit engagements
  • Stay abreast of regulatory developments and best practices within the region
  • Prepare training materials and conduct trainings, if required

 

Other function(s)

  • Assist the Team Lead in carrying out any assigned duty relating to compliance;

Carry out any other projects or work as and when directed by the Head Group Compliance, Singapore from time to time.   


Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Diploma and above in Business, Accounting, Finance and relevant disciplines
  • Preferably with AML professional qualifications/certifications (CAMS, ICA etc.)
  • 4-5 years relevant experience in the banking and financial industry (audit, compliance testing or advisory background)
  • Audit/Compliance testing experience in banking and financial industry across all AML/CFT-related processes preferred.   
  • Business Acumen and able to face off with various stakeholders (including Senior Management)
  • Basic knowledge of financial products, markets and sales practices
  • Strong project management skills
  • Able to meet tight deadlines
  • Versatile and adaptable to changes
  • Team player
