Job Description
Responsibilities:
Create Customer Success through the continuous improvement of Manufacturing Planning processes in REMS. Govern planning practices in aiming to ensure that activities are executed in alignment with established Planning philosophy Maintain, and as-required, develop new Global Guidelines (GGL), Global Practice Standards (GPS), and Global Standard Operating Procedures (GSOP) for Materials and Delivery Planning scope of responsibility. Proactively develop the global REMS Planning community: increase competencies, share best practices between plants, strengthen collaboration between plants, share knowledge. Lead Global Planning Network discussions on planning requirements, planning philosophy, and lean thinking to align systems, methodology, documentation, and training. Provide support in process methodology, documentation, training, and knowledge management across regions. Participate in Global Process discussions as a representative of Global Planning Team. Collaborate with IDS & Digital teams for development and maintenance of tools supporting materials and delivery planning function (e.g. Excess Inventory, Sentinel).Main Tasks:
Collaborate with global stakeholders for identification, development, harmonization, and standardization of best practices. Provide ad-hoc hub support to regional teams related to overall Materials Management scope of responsibility, collaborating with global team members for input as required. Champion the utilization of tools, systems, and reports developed for Material / Delivery Planning functions by providing training and support to stakeholders globally. Interface with cross-functional stakeholders such as Engineering, Global Sourcing and Procurement, and Finance on impact of and improvements to planning processes. Assess regional compliance to Global Standard Planning Practices via Process Verification audits. Maintain relevant SharePoint sites within The Bridge and The WellWork Environment:
Spends a minimum of 95% of the time in an office environment. Occasional site visits with exposure to manufacturing operations. Fast paced atmosphere with multiple priorities and constant change. Some travel as necessary visiting TechnipFMC regional offices and manufacturing plants. Office environment requires sitting, operating a computer, walking, and some lifting. Some potential exposure to possible shop hazards when visiting the shop/field environment that includes high noise, heavy machinery, and shop traffic.You are meant for this job if:
Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent years of work experience. Generally, at least 10+ years of experience in production planning, materials planning, master scheduling, or long-term planning. Strong written and effective verbal communication skills in English. Comprehensive knowledge of SAP Materials Management module and functionality. Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) Certification in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred. Industry knowledge from the Oil and Gas equipment and services area is preferred. Experience and/or certifications in Lean Six Sigma. Ability to lead global teams of individual contributors. Ability to travel internationally. Works with limited supervision. Expected to make majority of decisions and recommendations within global planning processes. Demonstrate the ability to develop, improve, and implement processes, policies, and procedures that impact the function.
