  • Ensure accurate and timely issuance of laytime statements
  • Review and negotiate contracts, charter parties, and other relevant documents
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders such as brokers, ship owners, and charterers
  • Monitor, track, and resolve any laytime disputes or discrepancies
  • Manage and maintain laytime databases and records
  • Prepare reports and analysis on laytime performance
  • Stay updated with industry regulations and best practices related to laytime
  • Assist in other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum ITE/diploma, preferably in maritime studies or related field
  • Previous experience in a post fixture or laytime role within the shipping industry
  • Strong understanding of laytime calculations, charter parties, and contracts
  • Familiarity with industry software and tools for laytime calculations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • No experience are welcome to apply.
