Queensland Cotton has been an integral part of Australian agriculture for over 100 years We operate across multiple commodities including cotton, cottonseed, chickpeas, mung beans and sorghum. About the opportunity

This is a great opportunity in regional NSW for someone who is passionate about Australia agriculture Split your time between working from the office in Griffith and being on the road. You'll definitely need to enjoy building relationships with cotton growers, industry stakeholders like brokers, external gins, agronomy service providers and industry associations throughout the Murrumbidgee region. You'll have a fully serviced company car and enjoy visiting Cotton growers on farm to discuss their crop, yields and how the market is performing to support marketing decisions for their cotton lint, cottonseed or pulses. And you'll also enjoy attending community events. 

About you

Whilst Agribusiness qualifications are advantageous and ideally you will already have experience in the accumulation of agriculture commodities, what is really critical is your passion and commitment for Australian agriculture and the drive to build long lasting grower relationships. As long as you bring the right mature-minded mindset, attitude and interpersonal skills to engage with our growers, we can teach you the rest.

To be successful you'll bring:

A growth mindset (invested in your own ongoing growth and development). Commitment to represent our business and brand in your community and region. Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously with strong ownership. Strong administration and time management skills, as well as attention to detail. Experience in business development & sales, or the capability and drive to learn this. Live in the Murrumbidgee region or be willing to re-locate to this area.
