Roles & Responsibilities

Rectification of Variations Orders (RVOs) and Building Defects:

Coordinate the rectification process for Variations Orders (RVOs) and building defects identified during the completed building project. Liaise with Management, Committee, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of RVOs and building defects. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and assess RVOs and building defects.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of all RVOs and building defects, including documentation of correspondence, inspections, and resolutions. Prepare regular progress reports for the General Manager, highlighting the status of RVOs and building defects, including any delays or obstacles encountered.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with an experienced committee and the Maintenance Director to ensure alignment on priorities and actions related to RVOs and building defects. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams, to facilitate the resolution process.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure that all rectification work meets quality standards and is completed to the satisfaction of the organization and relevant regulatory bodies.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Timely Resolution of RVOs and Building Defects: Percentage of RVOs and building defects resolved within agreed-upon timelines. Average time taken to resolve RVOs and building defects.

Quality of Work:

Number of RVOs and building defects reoccurring after rectification. Percentage of rectification work meeting quality standards.

Communication and Collaboration:

Feedback from stakeholders regarding communication and collaboration effectiveness. Adherence to communication protocols and reporting timelines.

Documentation Accuracy:

Accuracy and completeness of documentation related to RVOs and building defects Compliance with record-keeping standards.

Cost Management:

Adherence to budgetary constraints for rectification work. Identification and implementation of cost-saving measures where possible.
