Opportunity Development Sales Internship

Job Summary

Work on real business challenges:You will be assigned with a project and work directly with teams to gain real-work experience, contribute to the business, and impact the digital world.

Joining our internship program means you will have a chance to secure a future role at Equinix when you graduate 

Overview of team

Working with Pre-sales related activities

Researches accounts and identifies key personas

Acquires Key/Targeted Personas through a variety of available tools

Responsibilities

Engages with Marketing for Regional Events support

Records and documents all calls, emails, meetings, tours and activities in Salesforce Portal

Generates interest, qualifies leads and creates pipeline growth via phone calls, emails and social media in assigned territory

Develops leads to stimulate business development, coordinating second level meetings/calls for Account Executives

Establishes relationships with key stakeholders in assigned accounts and prospects

Reports on weekly results, both qualitative and quantitative

Qualifications

Must be proficient in written and verbal for English and Japanese languages or experiences working in APJ Regions

Able to work from Early June to Mid August 2024

Experience in driving result through group settings with proven results

Track record in generating sales opportunities and leads via social web

Added advantage if prior experience in using Salesforce

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college, in your penultimate year of your bachelor’s or master’sdegree studies (Graduation between 2025/2026)
