What You'll Do:
Operations & Maintenance (O&M) with a focus on Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Oversee and participate in the O&M of the district cooling plant's I&C systems, including instrumentation, control valves, analyzers and the control system itself. Diagnose and troubleshoot I&C system malfunctions, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime. Perform preventive maintenance on I&C equipment by calibrating instruments, replacing components, and conducting routine checks. Develop and implement I&C maintenance plans and procedures to ensure system integrity and performance. Analyse and interpret control system data to identify potential issues and optimize system performance. Support the development and implementation of upgrades and modifications to the I&C systems. Interface with other O&M personnel and engineers to ensure coordinated plant operation. Contribute to business contingency plans and participate in audits and exercises related to I&C systems. Monitor the health and performance of the plant's server systems that support the I&C operations. Perform routine maintenance tasks on servers, such as applying updates and conducting backups. Troubleshoot basic server system issues to ensure data availability and system uptime. Communicate complex server system issues to IT specialists for further resolution (if needed). Assist with the O&M of other plant equipment (electrical, mechanical) as needed. Participate in scheduled and unscheduled plant shutdowns, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Maintain accurate documentation for I&C systems, server systems, and maintenance activities.What You'll Need
Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related discipline (, Instrumentation & Control). Minimum 5 years of experience in O&M with a strong focus on I&C systems in industrial settings, preferably district cooling plants. Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot I&C system malfunctions. Experience with calibration of industrial instrumentation. Strong understanding of control system principles (PLC, SCADA, DCS) in accordance with IEC61131-3 and communication protocols (OPC, ProfiNet, Modbus, HART, BACnet). Proficiency in using CMMS for maintenance management. Able to understand P&ID and have knowledge of instrumentation and control elements Basic understanding of server system administration, including troubleshooting and maintenance procedures. Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Self-motivated with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration and managing contractors and vendors. Working knowledge of Cyber Security (ISA/IEC 62443) is a plus
