The Role

To provide operational and administrative support to the hospital’s accredited doctors, primarily through the hospital’s Medical Advisory Board (MAB), its sub-committees, and Specialist Interest Groups (SIGs), in order to aid in the medical staff organisation in providing excellent patient care.

Key accountabilities

1. Secretariat to MAB and its sub-committees. Ensure that committees adhere to the Terms of Reference. Minutes are documented, with action items follow up promptly and identified gaps closed.
2. Review and Editing of Policy. Ensure that Medical Affair policies and processes are compliant to PHMC guidelines/directives, hospital licensing terms and conditions and JCI standards.
3. JCI and MOH Licensing. Prepare for JCI and MOH licensing audits, in compliance with standards and guidelines.
4. Ad-hoc projects. Assist with development of detailed project plan. Execute tasks an produce deliverable as outlined in project plan and directed by the doctor-in-charge, CEO and/or HOD. Resolve cross-functional issues at project level and update of project progress.
5. Office Administration. Perform other duties as assigned by the HOD and maintain doctor’s information and manage communications in the strictest confidence.

Qualifications & Experience

Degree from any recognised university.
Minimum 3 – 4 years of work experience.
Prior working experience in a hospital is preferred.

Additional Information

Good interpersonal skills.
Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
Prior experience with SAP is preferred.
