The role is within the Renewables Advisory Section of Business Area Energy and comprises the delivery of Project Development and Measurement Services to Advisory customers in South East Asia, Japan, Korea and Taiwan (SeaJaKoTa).

The candidate will join the Renewables Advisory practice which consists of approximately 150 staff in Korea, Australia, India, Japan, Greater China, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia.

The candidate can be located in any major DNV offices in Asia, namely Manila, Bangkok, Seoul, Yokohama, Taipei or Singapore offices.

The main activities of the role of Data Analyst are:

Perform regular data quality control checking and investigation of wind resource data using DNV’s Resource Panorama Service. Work closely with customers to update status of measurements and support trouble shooting activities. Provide insights by using measurement data to quantify wind resource at project sites. Support and participate in the further services of the project development and measurement section. Education:

Diploma or Degree in engineering, data analytics, statistics, mathematics or other relevant discipline.

Knowledge, skills and experience required for the position are:

Experience with data analysis and reporting Proficiency in Microsoft 365 software suite (primarily Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint), plus an aptitude for investigation of large amounts of measured data via custom analysis packages.

Experience of the following would be an advantage:

Previous experience in a similar position. Experience in wind and/or solar measurements for resource assessments. Familiarity with operation of data logging and communications equipment to support the capture and transmission of measurement data. Executing measurements or specialized tests. Understanding of the characteristics of other measurement equipment of relevance to the wind and solar energy industries. Working knowledge of the renewable energy industry and project developers.

Physical abilities:

Normal office environment, regular walking, sitting, bending, twisting, standing and reaching.
