About the Department
Market Risk and Product Control is the function in Group Risk Management supporting the bank’s Treasury business
responsible for P&L Reporting, analysis and reconciliations, Market data and valuation controls, Book controls, Structured Products governance and Market Risk computation, monitoring and controls.
Job Responsibilities
Perform daily valuation of exotic products. Perform independent price verification. Review of valuation methodologies. Review of monthly valuation adjustments computation including CVA/DVA. Support audit and valuation working group as well as other daily control functions. Participate in strategic projects to support new business initiatives.
Job Requirements
Candidates with 1-4 years of relevant working experience in banking or financial institutions, preferably in the role of Middle Office / Risk / Product Control / Valuation Control are welcomed to apply. Minimum Degree in Mathematics / Financial Engineering / Quantitative Finance or its equivalent professional Certificates. Some product knowledge and analytical skills in Treasury, Derivative and Structured Products with an understanding of Market terms and practices. Some knowledge of office software packages plus working knowledge of data vendors such as Bloomberg and Reuters. Knowledge in programming language and use of Matlab and VBA is essential. Good team player who possesses drive, initiative, have an eye for details and able to work independently under pressure to deliver accurate and timely results. Candidates with knowledge on counterparty credit risk will be an added advantage-
