(Senior) Network Engineer

Our Infrastructure team provides the end-to-end managed services and solutions for the Group's entire Internet infrastructure alongside running business applications. We excel in building the architecture, providing solutions and operations of data center, connectivity, cloud, networking, system, storage and security. We are a proud provider of high-quality and stable running business applications and services to our internal business units.
(Senior) Network Engineers (N1) work at the focal point to provide essential monitoring and troubleshooting support for all networks, systems, and systems while escalating problems to appropriate teams. As a part of the team, you aim to resolve network issues within a short period of time to bring Sea’s quality of services to new heights.
Job Description
Perform Tier 1 management by monitoring and supporting Sea Network Infrastructure and other services, responding to graph/log anomalies, system alerts via email/SMS/phone calls etc.Identify network related issues quickly according to SOPs and best practices, escalate to the corresponding team to fix the issue when necessary. Perform basic Linux commands to run diagnostic instructions and analyze the output for first-level troubleshooting. Use basic Cisco/Huawei/Arista switches/routers command to understand the configuration and whole network topology. Follow up proactively with internal or external parties on progression, and prepare official incident reports.Review the incidents and provide service improvement plans to the Network Engineering team. Work in shifts (24*7)
Minimum Diploma in Engineering or equivalent. Basic knowledge of Ethernet network, IT service management, and Linux/Windows systems. Understanding of basic network knowledge such as ARP, VLAN, ACL, BGP, OSPF, MPLS-VPN,IPv6. Understanding of basic network monitoring systems such as Zabbix, Cacti, Grafana etc. Understanding of basic DDoS patterns such as DNS/NTP Amplifier, UDP Flood, TCP SYN Flooding etc. Understanding of the basic Python/Bash scripts and Ansible playbook is preferredProficient in technical report writing and documentation. Possess strong interpersonal skills and able to interact with stakeholders of all levels professionally. Relevant technical certification is preferred: CCNA/CCNP, HCIA/HCIP or equivalent. Proficient in Mandarin is a plus due to regional coverage.Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply.
