The Division of Gastroenterology provides general gastroenterology and hepatology services for Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH), a 761-bed general and acute care hospital that serves more than 550,000 people living in the northern sector of Singapore.

We are seeking accredited gastroenterologists to join our team.

Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Contributing to quality outpatient and inpatient clinical services, including running specialist outpatient clinics, supervising inpatient care and providing specialist consultations; Performing endoscopic procedures independently (candidate/s who are able to provide ERCP/EUS service are required for at least one position); Participating in on-call rosters for emergencies and clinical service provision; Providing teaching and supervision to junior medical staff; Other duties as assigned by the Head of Division and Head of Department. Candidates with resourcefulness, adaptability and appreciation for teamwork are desired - this includes working cordially and effectively with intra-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary colleagues across various divisions, departments and functions, with consideration for the vision, mission, core values and strategy of the organisation.

Current positions are clinical service focused, however opportunities are available for certain amounts of research activities, and participation with clinical education or administrative activities.

Job Requirements
Possess medical qualification that is registrable with the Singapore Medical Council; Eligible for Conditional or Full registration with the Singapore Medical Council; Completed specialist training with the qualification that is registrable with the Specialist Accreditation Board; Registered as a specialist doctor in the country of where the specialist training was completed; Be in active clinical practice in the past 3 years in the relevant specialty; Provide evidence of English language proficiency and meet the score specified by the Singapore Medical Council if the basic medical qualification is not conducted in English language. ​Further details on medical registration and licensing may be obtained from the Singapore Medical Council at .
