1.Enterprise Security Maintenance – Ensure consistent state across the enterprise by supporting Business Unit (BU) and Service Provider activities encompassing endpoint security, network security, perimeter security, and data security.
2.Proactive Security Support – Collaborate closely with BU and Service Provider representatives to provide both preventative and proactive support, thereby fortifying the security infrastructure.
3.Security Policy Review & Implementation – Review requested security policy changes to in-scope security infrastructure, provide recommendations to management for approval and implementation using internal job aids.
4.Security Reporting & Recommendation – Execute security reporting on the effectiveness of security policies, monthly changes, and make recommendations for the adoption of new policies, procedures, and technologies as required, and lifecycle management duties by ensuring security policies remain updated and effective.
5.Incident Response Engagement – Participate in incident response activities as needed, assisting in the prompt resolution and mitigation of security incidents.
6.Security Systems Documentation – Create and maintain technical and operational documentation of in-scope security systems to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
7.Security Infrastructure Inventory Maintenance – Maintain inventory for in-scope security infrastructure, ensuring all security assets are properly logged and tracked.
8.Security Infrastructure Monitoring – Monitor in-scope security infrastructure and respond to operational alerts from the monitoring system, proactively identifying potential security issues.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics and Mathematics or

related discipline

Experience: Senior - Five (5) years of work experience in cyber security

May include some of the following skills & experience based on business needs:

  • Intrusion Prevention System support, McAfee NSP and Checkpoint IPS
  • Firewall support, Checkpoint
  • Network troubleshooting, basic routing and switching
  • Information security principles/domains such as application security, data loss prevention, penetration testing, perimeter security, network security, endpoint security, identity and access management and web security
  • Customer facing support in form of basic up to advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and associated documentation of common issues in the form of Job Aid or SOPs
  • Experience or certification in technology endpoint, perimeter, or network security technologies

Job description

The FedEx Threat Intelligence (FTI) team is dedicated to protecting our critical infrastructure and data from ever-increasing cyber threats. As a – Cyber Security Analyst-Senior I on the FTI team, you will play a vital role in our Security team by proactively identifying, analyzing, and mitigating potential cyber threats. You will leverage your expertise to gather and analyze threat intelligence from a variety of sources, develop threat profiles, and disseminate actionable intelligence to internal stakeholders. Identify gaps and Intelligence Requirements (IRs) in support of Collection Management. Develop and maintain knowledge base to serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR). Supports team growth and development through continuous contribution to processes and procedures from experience and lessons learned. Provide Intelligence support to FedEx’s Cybersecurity Command Center (C3) and Counter Threat Operations teams in support of event and incident investigations. You will mentor junior analysts supporting the development of Intelligence skills and tradecraft. You will also be responsible for staying abreast of the latest cyber threat landscape and trends, and for collaborating with other security professionals to develop and implement effective security strategies.

Skills and Qualification

The ideal candidate for this job will have courses and/or relevant work experience in some or all of the following skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Intelligence or a related field (Master's degree a plus)
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in cyber threat intelligence or a related field
  • Proven experience in analyzing threat data from a variety of sources
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • MITRE ATT&CK Framework, Killchain, and Diamond Model Attribution familiarity
  • Exhibiting a high degree of flexibility and ability to multi-task, seeking guidance where necessary
  • Ability to work as part of a team with remote colleagues in other countries
  • Able to understand, speak and write English fluidly
