Summary

We are seeking an experienced Process Industries Automation Lead for Asia Pacific to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for growing our Industrial Automation business in Asia Pacific - by developing market entry strategies and building up a strong external offering for our integrated process control, automation system & instrumentation solutions for Process Industries, which include Oil & Gas, (Petro-)Chemicals, Fiber, and other industries, across the Asia Pacific region.

How You’ll Make an Impact

In liaise with various departments and businesses, initiate and develop a healthy business opportunity pipeline for Industrial Automation Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with internal teams and external partners (End customers, EPCs, Consultants, etc) Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and partners within the region as well with other regional /head offices and other business units of Siemens energy. Drive cross-functional teams from Sales & Bidding, Project management & Service, other regional & head offices to pursue new opportunities and bidding activities, executing projects, and delivering maximized customer satisfaction Develop and implement strategies to build up and train the team in Asia Pacific, build up supplier base and provide optimized solutions Oversee process controls & safety, automation system & instrumentation solutions provided within the Asia Pacific region.

What You Bring

At least 10 years’ experience in industrial sector with consistent track record in developing successful complex businesses Experience with automation and digitalization disciplines across industries such as Oil & Gas, Fiber, (Petro-)Chemicals Strong commercial and technical competence, with experience in scouting and developing deals. Good technical knowledge of Control, Automation & instrumentation systems ( DCS/ICSS/ ESD/PSD/F&G/PMS/SCADA/TMS) Setting high standards and monitoring progress towards goals; tenaciously working to meet or exceed goals; defining success by goal achievement and continuous improvement Winning personality, a good listener, and a good communicator Quick learner, teammate and open to learn new things Capable of working in a multinational and multicultural team across different geographical locations Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in other Asian languages is a plus.
