The Role

Within Moët Hennessy, the Management Control "Distribution" department is responsible for financial monitoring of performance across all areas related to the group's product distribution towards regions, subsidiaries, and agents; it also provides support to operations.

We are looking for a Business Controlling Intern who will assist the Finance Manager in driving the team for a 6-month period, committing to full-time work for 5 days a week. The role will primarily involve supporting MH Private, our direct-to-consumer sales initiative, at both global and Asia Pacific levels.

Under the guidance of the MH Private Finance Manager, you will assist with financial reporting and performance management, support planning and forecasting, interact with the Sales teams, aid in maintaining BI and planning systems, and address any ad-hoc requests.

How you will contribute to MH Private Sales Success

MH Private Singapore Business Controlling

P&L Analysis and Performance Reporting: Assist in conducting P&L analysis, providing explanations for performance reports and revenue figures. Close Monitoring of Sales and Marketing Costs : Assist to analyze and follow-up of events ROI and tasting bottles costs. Budgeting and forecasting : Work with the Finance Manager, offering support in budgeting and forecasting activities, assisting in proposing budget plans, and helping prepare necessary documentation. Business Partnering : Assist the Sales team on a day-to-day basis to extract sales data and work closely with the business. Pricing: Assist the Finance Manager to implement product pricing (champagnes, wines, and spirits) according to MH Private guidelines for the Singapore market.

Global MH Private Financial Controlling

Monthly Financial Reporting and Analysis: Support in preparing and analyzing monthly financial reports, consolidating performance data across APAC, Americas, and EMEA regions, and reporting to the Maisons. Budgeting and Forecasting: Support in the budgeting and forecasting cycles, assisting in the preparation and review of budget plans and forecasts.

MH Private Finance tools maintenance

Data Reliability and Accuracy: Assist in ensuring the reliability and accuracy of data across MH Private tools, including Power BI, Salesforce, and Anaplan. IT Project Monitoring: Assist in monitoring the development of IT projects in collaboration with the Headquarters IT team.

Ad Hoc Requests

Handle any ad hoc requests to support the MH Private Business.

Are Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree specializing in Finance or Business Controlling, Have an interest in the luxury industry and relevant internship experience (a plus), Are fluent in English, with proficiency in other language(s) being advantageous, Have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, Have the ability and interest in operating within multiple IT systems, including PowerBI, Salesforce, Anaplan, and Hyperion Essbase, Exhibit rigor and attention to detail, Possess strong analytical skills, Can effectively communicate verbally and in writing in a multicultural environment, Are autonomous, proactive, and results oriented.
