Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experience Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our Global Tech MNC client. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and enhancing user experience while safeguarding data through groundbreaking work, driven in excellence.

Developing next-gen AI/ML capabilities for our pioneering devices and platforms, supporting millions of users and billions of transactions within our ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Provide mentorship and leadership within the division, driving innovation and state-of-the-art solutions. Designing and Developing Machine Learning Systems & Algorithms: create efficient self-learning applications, design and construct sophisticated machine learning models, refine and update existing systems. Work closely with ML researchers and engineers to understand their data needs and develop efficient pipelines for data collection, preprocessing, and feature engineering. Collaborate on ML model deployment and monitoring, ensuring seamless integration with production systems. Implement data governance practices, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations (such as GDPR) and maintaining data security. Address fairness, transparency, and bias concerns in ML models. Implement techniques to reduce bias and ensure ethical use of AI. Define data retention policies and manage access controls for sensitive data. Conceptualize, design, and develop core algorithms for search, recommendations, and personalization. Run offline experiments and build online A/B tests for production systems. Architect end-to-end complex systems in areas like Big Data, Semantic Search, Content Management, and Scalable Services.

Key Qualifications

5+ years of relevant industry experience (technology product, software product, AI/ML, Quant/Algo, e-Commerce) Strong programming skills in these languages: Python, Scala, Go, Java Experience building big data pipelines with Hadoop, Java, Scala, and Spark Scale up model training, build data pipelines, and tuning to improve system performance. Experience with Machine Learning techniques and related projects. Experience in machine learning, deep learning/LLM, information retrieval, natural language processing. Deep understanding of predictive modelling and machine learning algorithms for supervised and unsupervised learning including classification, regression, clustering, etc. Experience of prompt engineering, fine-tuning, evaluating, and developing data collection/annotation/management tooling for LLMs. Passion - Our customers love what we do in the organisation and we want the same from our engineers

Experience with Search & Recommendation Experience with Building Machine Learning Models and Language Models Deep Learning and AI Toolkits: Familiarity with Spark, TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch. Innovative Thinking: Experience with Deep Learning, Bandits, Probabilistic Graphical Models, or Reinforcement Learning.

Education

Bachelors in Computer Science or related discipline, Masters or PhD preferred.
