We are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Global Technology Product Head, Risk to drive our organization’s risk management technology strategy. As a pivotal member of our risk management team, you will play a critical role in shaping our risk technology landscape, ensuring robust controls, and enhancing our risk mitigation capabilities.

Job Description

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and communicate a visionary risk technology roadmap aligned with our risk management objectives.

Collaborate with senior executives and risk stakeholders to define technology priorities and long-term goals.

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in risk management.

Risk Technology Roadmap:

Create and maintain a comprehensive risk technology roadmap, encompassing areas such as operational risk, credit risk, market risk, and cybersecurity.

Evaluate existing risk systems, identify gaps, and recommend enhancements or replacements.

Lead the implementation of new risk technology solutions.

System Integration and Architecture:

Oversee the seamless integration of risk systems across the organization.

Ensure scalability, reliability, and data integrity in risk technology architecture.

Collaborate with IT teams to streamline risk workflows.

Data Analytics and Modelling:

Leverage data analytics and predictive modelling to assess risk exposure.

Develop risk models, stress testing frameworks, and scenario analyses.

Provide actionable insights to senior management.

Vendor Management:

Collaborate with risk technology vendors and negotiate contracts.

Monitor vendor performance and adherence to service level agreements.

Change Management and Adoption:

Drive change initiatives related to risk technology adoption.

Ensure effective communication, training, and support for end-users.

Security and Compliance:

Implement robust security measures to safeguard sensitive risk data.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., Basel III, GDPR).

Risk Culture and Awareness:

Foster a risk-aware culture within the organization.

Educate stakeholders on risk technology benefits and best practices.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).

12-15 years of experience in risk technology leadership roles within financial services.

Proficiency in risk management systems (e.g., Moody’s Risk Authority, SAS Risk Dimensions, Murex).

Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation abilities.

Passion for innovation and continuous improvement in risk technology.

Familiarity with reporting, visualization, and data analytic software packages

Proficiency with Project tracking tools like JIRA, Oneview etc.

Good in MS Office tools

Familiarity with MS Visio
